CM: Kenpachi Zaraki Plush

Bleach- Kenpachi Zaraki

Head to toe- 11 inches; Hair Peak to toe- 14.5 inches

Materials: Felt, bells, hot glue gun, hot glue sticks, acrylic paint.

Apologies for the long wait! Hopefully I can get this out to her before Christmas!

I really like how this came out. Has to be one of my favorite plushies that I made. I hit a few road bumps here and there.

Like with painting on details to the coat or face. I had to practice on scraps first before feeling confident on going ahead to the main piece. 

Wish I could've done the eye patch back strap a little better. i couldn't find a good example on how the patch was suppose to look like. 

there were a few things I would've liked to have done on the doll. Like make the eye patch removable so you can see the little scary mouths on the other side and his other eye. But when I made another eye and placed it on the face, the eyes were either to close to each other or the eye was to close to the eye for balance. 

the captains coat is removable but it is a serious pain to out it back on haha. You have to be a little stern but very careful not to tear on the thread. So hopefully the coat will just remain on haha I didn't know how to do the hair spikes either. I just made two layered triangles. Sewed the long points together and opened the short points over the head all around. But it seems the weight of the bells are just a little to heavy for the hair. They'll stay up, but sudden movements make them flop over a bit. But they still look really cool :b

I made the sword last. That was a pain in the butt haha. I wanted to make like the sword come out the sheath. but couldn't do it, so I just wrapped the 'bandages' around and around. It's not just one longgggggg white felt piece but multiple. the first one came out nice and stiff and not so floppy. But a little too fat so I had to remake it a little skinnier. but this one kind of flops a bit haha.I'm afraid to put it through the belt loop incase it might tear it. but I couldn't just make him without his sword :c.
